Blood Status: Halfblood
Schooling: Hogwarts, Gryffindor, 2019-2026.
Occupation: Illustrator.
Sexuality: Heterosexual.
Gender & Pronouns: Female: She/her
APPEARANCE
Height: 5'5
Hair: Shoulder length waves & Weasley Red.
Eyes: Brown, like her mothers.
Manner of Dress: On a normal day, Lily doesn’t pay a lot of mind to being traditionally pretty. She doesn’t style her hair, she doesn’t do her make up-- and though yes, she makes an effort to make sure her clothing matches, is clean, and fits her well she isn’t running around trying to be the height of wizarding fashion. For the most part, Lily is still really discovering her sense of style. She’s an 18 year old who has barely figured out who she is outside of Hogwarts. Lily loves large jumpers and comfortable jeans, she is also unafraid of showing off her body when she’s going out for a drink at the pub.
Ultimately, she’s tried to mimic a lot of what she’s seen her older cousins pull off. She’s inherited a lot of her older cousins' clothes, just out of Weasley habit and less out of financial needs.
General Vibes: Lily comes off as a relaxed bohemian type. She loves art and music, and is more than happy to sit around a coffee shop sketching.
Notable Features: a million and a half freckles, she has a watercolor Lily between her shoulder blades, and Still I rise with a phoenix on her wrist.

PERSONALITY
Idealistic Lily grew up on the stories of her parents and aunts and uncles and their friends. Of course, these stories were edited for her little ears and thus, she was just left with the grand emotions of it all. Notions of bravery, and fairy tales, of romance and good continuously triumphing over evil. Lily believes firmly in fighting the good fight, and grand shows of love and affection. She believes that good will always prevail, and that if things aren’t okay, well, they will be because how could they not be? Lily Luna believes that the universe is inherently good.
CreativeThe only thing bigger than Lily Luna’s voice is her imagination. Fairy tales were young Lily’s favorite thing in the universe, and she began playing them out with her dolls, and writing her own adventures at a young age. Lily took to creative pursuits naturally, always wanting to make something-- a song, a drawing, a story-- she loves putting herself into her passions.
Stubborn Lily doesn’t give up easily, if at all. She will argue until she’s blue in the face if she feels like she’s right about something, she doesn’t stop until the job is complete, she will always share her opinions if she thinks that something is being done the wrong way. Lily doesn’t easily change her mind either, it takes a lot of evidence to admit that she’s wrong (and even then sometimes she wont admit it).
Emotional Part of giving herself over to her own creative processes is that Lily is… an emotional being, and unfortunately a bit loud and explosive about it. You honestly never really have to wonder how Lily might be feeling at any given moment. When she’s happy, it’s all cheer and perkiness, but when she’s angry it’s scowls and stomping. She loves with all of herself (even when it makes no sense) and is an empathetic and sensitive soul at times. It’s just best to make sure you catch her on a good day.
Charismatic Being empathetic, and attention-seeking, and creative, it’s lent itself to natural social talents. Lily is the type of person who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Lily is charming and sincere and she just has an innate knowledge on how to deal with other people for the most part.
InsecureThe problem with being the youngest child of war heroes, and the youngest in an impressive line of uncles, aunts and cousins, is that there is always someone to compare yourself to, even when you know you shouldn’t. Lily is the daughter of war heroes who barely held a grade in DADA and charms. Lily is the daughter of a world famous quidditch player, who is terrified of brooms. Lily isn’t the prettiest cousin, or the smartest or the kindest or the most successful. Lily… is what she is, and that is pretty average, and every gossip rag in the wizarding world has made that abundantly clear. Growing up in the limelight has severely damaged Lily’s self-worth.
HISTORY
Notable Family Members:
Harry James Potter [Father; Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement] Lily knows that her dad loves her, but she also knows that Albus was essentially his 'Mini' and she couldn't really compete with that. She loves her dad, but sometimes feels like she didn't live up to his expectations.
Ginevra Molly Weasley [Mother; Sports Editor and Former Holyhead Harpies Chaser] Much like with Harry, Lily knows that her mom would never say she was disappointed that Lily never really gave quidditch a "fair" shot, but she can feel it. She isn't the badass hex slinging, quidditch playing wild child that her mother was despite the fact they look nearly identical.
James Sirius Potter [Oldest brother; The Cool one]
Albus Severus Potter [Older brother; The Smart one]
A ton of other Miscellaneous pureblooded families (You know how Pureblooded families can be). She has a ton of Weasley cousins, aunts and Uncles by blood, and then of course there are some people she considers family by the fact they grew up together-- like the Longbottoms or the Scamanders.
Hometown: Lily grew up in the perfectly perfect town of Foxport Cross-- a somewhat muggle friendly community not far from London. Due to it’s “family friendly” features (ie-- a good quiddy field and being close to Harry Freaking Potter) the town became a pretty upper class neighborhood sometime after the young Potter family settled there. Still, Lily has some pretty fond memories of her happy little childhood home.

History:
.o1. EARLY CHILDHOOD. Lily Luna doesn’t remember being born, obviously, but she does remember going up in the crowd that was a family with 12 other kids born roughly within the same ten year time span. Naturally, Lil was given quite a bit of attention when she was young, but as they all got older, Lily realized that she needed to fight to be the center of attention (which was something she craved). To be seen, Lily had to be bolder. To be heard, Lily had to be louder. She was terrified of going unnoticed in the sea of redheaded war-hero children. As a child, this became her whole identity.
.o2. LEARNING TO FLY. Lily remembers watching her older cousins and James flying around their grandparents house one Christmas afternoon. She wasn’t old enough to fly on a real broom, and no one wanted her to ride with them, which just made her angry. She didn’t need them, she would show them that she was just as absolutely good at flying as they were! Lily doesn’t even know whose broom she took, but she found one (presumably when one of the cousins ran inside for something) but she hopped on it, despite her cousins yelling for her to leave it be. She didn’t really know what she was doing, and she managed to get on it before it haphazardly rocketed into the air. She clung on as tight as she could, but her screaming could be heard throughout all of St. Ottery.
To say that Lily lost control of the broom would imply that little Lily had ever had control in the first place. She fell off the flying contraption and broke her arm in three different places, and the family had to make a trip over to the hospital meant she had to miss Christmas pudding. Lily hates brooms, and has a fear of flying, but her family is really the only people who know this.
.o3. BEING AN ONLY CHILD. Lily was seven by the time her two brothers were in school, leaving her alone with just her parents. It didn’t hurt that most of the other cousins were in school too, so Lily felt like she finally had all the attention she wanted. Being the only child at home meant that Lily’s flights of fancy were indulged in even more than before. One week Lily wanted to be a painter, and the next week she was destined to be an actress, then the next she was going to be a horse racer, and another a gymnast. Lily transformed several times a week, which was more than enough to keep her parents on their toes.
Being on her own wasn't all fun and games though-- when her parents were busy with work or handling issues, Lily didn't have a brother to con into playing games with her. More often than not, she found herself playing dolls by herself, writing stories about the things that they were doing, and then acting them out with her toys like her own little play. She had a whole note book about her dolls, and while none of it was actually any good, it certainly gave her a way to release her emotions and keep herself entertained. It's a thing that stuck with her.
.o4. HOGGY-HOGGY-HOGWARTS. By the time Lily (and her cousin, Hugo) got to school, it wasn’t all that exciting. There wasn’t anything new for her to achieve, to accomplish. Uncles and Cousins had been prefects. Almost all of her family had been on the House teams. Albus was the Smart one. James had been the cool one. Even her Uncles had been the first to not graduate. Everything that was new and exciting about Hogwarts had been done by her siblings and her cousins a hundred times by then. And school was a lot safer than it had been when her parents were in school-- no tyrannical teachers to rebel again, no place to sneak out, no places to go.
It didn’t help that Lily was also a Gryffindor. She fit into her house just fine, but it almost felt like she was recycled. Everyone compared her to her parents or her brothers or cousins. The only thing exceptional about her time at Hogwarts was that it wasn't exceptional at all. She wasn't the first to join a club, she wasn't on the quidditch team (though she did get very good at making 'Go Team' posters).
.o5. ACADEMICALLY SPEAKING. Lily isn’t dumb… but she’s not an academic. That became increasingly clear during her time at school. Honestly, Lily struggled making decent grades-- in part because she didn’t want to try. Lily tends to turn off when things become particularly hard or complicated. Additionally, Lily Luna took after her namesake in several ways, and was prone to daydreaming in class. She would doodle on her notes, stare off into space, and plan novels or drawing or songs when she should be reading about potion ingredients.
Lily was decent at theoretical things… Runes or arithmancy. Things that she could ponder over. But things that involved practicality or raw magical talent, turned Lily off. Lily graduated, and academically, she was average.
.o6. GRADUATION. After school, Lil didn’t have a lot of direction, but she was lucky that her parents didn’t push her much. Lily had a lot of passion, and a lot of ideas, but that had always been her way. She lacked a lot of the follow through. She had gone to a handful of acting auditions and nothing immediately picked up. She painted and sold them, but mostly because the name Potter was attached to it. She had played a handful of open mic gigs. But Lily was impatient.
Honestly, Lily got her first illustration gig by drawing (and selling) caricatures in the park, something that she had done to make a little extra money (not that her parents weren't basically financially supporting her, just that she wanted to be independent). It had been a slow day, and she had been loudly boasting to anyone that would listen that she could draw a person perfectly on description alone. Someone had taken her up on it, and had her draw a character from a book that the person was working on... and that is how Lily wound up illustrating her first children's book. Since then, the work has been steady enough as she was able to get on with a firm that finds gigs for her.
.o7. Moving out. Lily was one of the few selected to move into the new, strange apartment building, and honestly she wasn't surprised. At least one of the Potter children always seemed to "win" or be "gifted" opportunities like that. It was one of the privilege's of being from a famous family. Her father was a little weirded out by it (Lily says he's paranoid) but enough of her family friends and cousins were moving that it didn't become a huge deal at the end of the day.
But it was to Lily, having an apartment, even one surrounded by her family was good enough for her. It meant that she was an adult. It meant that she had freedom and could start finding her way in the world.
